How to use creatine monohydrate correctly? Does it need to taken before workout or after workout?

I’m going to start taking Tribulus which is a herbal supplement that is supposed to indirectly inrease testosterone levels in your body. I was reading the dosage for this supplement and it says
“DOSE: Take 500-2,000 mg per day in 2-3 divided doses. On workout days, take one dose about 30-60 minutes before training. Follow a five-days-on/two-days-off regimen for eight weeks, then take two weeks off before cycling back on tribulus. Look for an extract standardized to no less than 45% protodioscin.”
My question is however… do I really need t o take it 3 times a day?.. The Tribulus I purchased has 500 mg per pill and I’m thinking about only taking one or two pills an hour before my workout which is on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I don’t know if I should be taking it on my off days?..
Someone please help me with your advice, or if anyone has taken this supplement please let me know. I’m taking it for Bodybuilding
