Blueberry Extract
Jerry asked:

I’ve had a couple thousand dollars lying around, along with a lot of free time, and my friends are helping me pull of this idea of a drink. It is not another knock-off beverage; it is very original and I think it would sell. I am planning to start off small scale, vending at local grocery stores and convenience stores, and I have written down a process of how to produce it.

It’s going to be called “Vibewater”. It is a healthy soda, essentially. Here are the basic specs. (we’ve already made a batch of prototypes)

–20 oz glass bottle
–Colorful bottle, with silver foil comparable to the can of red bull, very attractive and eye catching, designed by hired professionals
–No artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, sweetners
– 10 calories (from the fruit juice) ; sweetened with all-natural stevia extract.
– Carbonated, but not to the point it stings your tongue and hurts to swallow.
– Flavored with all natural flavors, and about 10 calories worth of fruit juice, depending on flavor
– Herbal extracts and vitamin and mineral supplement.

The 3 basic flavors we developed are:

Peach-Mango-Kumquat (no real kumquat juice)
Strawberry-Raspberry-Lime
Blueberry-passion fruit- mint

They taste delicious and just like the names.

I did some math and they would end up costing roughly 1.99 each.

Should I go ahead and appeal for a loan?

In conclusion, does this sound like a good business idea?
